FAQ
Questions before trusting an app with life admin.
Short answers about privacy, Premium, Apple integrations, and how Orin fits into everyday life.
What is Orin?
Orin is a privacy-first iPhone app for life admin. It helps you capture responsibilities, understand what matters now, and keep bills, reminders, tasks, subscriptions, and stored items in one calm place.
Is Orin a task manager?
Not in the traditional sense. Orin can hold tasks, but it is designed as a life admin layer that prioritises responsibilities rather than making you manage long lists.
Can Orin help me plan my day?
Yes. Day Plan shows your timeline, scheduled work, available gaps, suggested slots, and unscheduled responsibilities so you can place admin into real time.
Can Orin remind me about warranties and return windows?
Yes. You can save warranty dates, return deadlines, receipts, stored item details, and linked reminders so small purchase admin is easier to find later.
Can Orin track subscriptions and renewals?
Yes. Orin can hold recurring bills, subscriptions, payment reminders, renewal dates, and finance context without turning the app into a spreadsheet.
Can Orin store private documents?
Premium includes private admin documents for passports, insurance, warranties, receipts, contracts, expiry dates, renewal reminders, and searchable notes.
Does Orin track me?
No. Orin does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, or tracking for advertising.
Does Orin work with Apple Reminders and Calendar?
Yes, when you choose to enable those integrations. Calendar and Reminders access are optional and can be changed later in Settings.
Does Orin replace my calendar?
No. Orin can use Calendar context for Today and Day Plan, but it is not trying to become your calendar. It focuses on the admin around your day.
What does Orin Premium include?
Premium unlocks unlimited responsibilities, weekly review, behavioural patterns, advanced nudges, and iCloud sync.
Can I use Orin in dark mode?
Yes. Orin supports System, Light, and Dark appearance settings.
